Our online reservation system is an easy and secure way to see what rooms are available, pick your arrival and departure dates, make your reservation and get instant confirmation.
In order to offer you the best rates during the busiest times of the year, we impose a minimum stay. If the minimum stay is 2 nights, you must enter 2 nights stay on the reservation system before it will allow you to proceed.
We’re sorry you have to cancel your stay. Our accommodations are typically booked in advance as most guests prefer to have a confirmed booking / reservation. If a room, apartment or holiday home is cancelled at short notice, we may be unable to re-sell that room.
Rooms at O’Donnabhain’s Townhouse Accommodation
Up to 8 days before you are due to arrive – there is no cancellation charge. However, your booking deposit will not be refunded.
If you cancel between 7 – 0 days before you are due to arrive, there is a cancellation charge for the first night’s stay.

Reservations for apartments and holiday homes
Apartments and holiday homes require an initial depost of 25% which is non-refundable.
The balance is due 6 weeks before your stay. Cancellations after this time are not possible.
For reservations in our apartments and holiday homes, please check the Kenmare Rentals website for the cancellation policy.
At O’Donnabhain’s, we accept Visa, Master Card and Cash.
All taxes and service charges are included in the room rate.
If you have reserved a room with breakfast, you can enjoy “a full-Irish” breakfast or you can choose lighter options from our menu.
For room-only reservations, you may choose to have breakfast, but it will be added as an additional charge to your room. The charge is dependent on what you order.
Breakfast is served from 8:30am to 10:00am.
If you are checking out early and would like an earlier breakfast, please email us in advance to check that we can provide breakfast at a time that is suitable for you.
We strive to make sure that our rates are always the lowest when you book with us directly. If you find a lower rate on another website, we will match the rate available on the other website.
We will also refund you the difference in the rate between the direct booking and the third-party site.
Our WiFi is FREE in hotspots around the property. As there are different networks across the property, please ask a member of staff for the appropriate password.
We have a free car park for our guests. It is located to the rear of the property. When you arrive in Kenmare, call into the bar and we will direct you to the car park. Alternatively, give us a call on (+353) 064 6642321.
All areas of the property, including bedrooms, are non-smoking. You may smoke in the beer garden or on the patio.
All our rooms are ensuite. If you require a room with Shower-only / or Bath-only, email us after you have made your reservation and we will arrange this for you.
There is no charge for children (ages 0-10 years) who sleep in the same bed as their parent. After the child’s 11th birthday, they have the same requirements as an adult.
Our Family Room – This will sleep 2 adults and 2 children. As this room has 1 double bed and 2 single beds, it is possible to have an infant in a cot in this room. The rate on our online system is the rate for the entire family and includes breakfast and taxes.
Yes, we have cots. We can only place 1 cot in a room due to access and fire regulations.
Cots are free if they are reserved when you book your room directly on this website. Simply email us after you have made your booking to inform us that you need a cot / crib and we will reserve it for you. If you arrive on the day and request a cot / crib there may be an extra charge.
When you are making a reservation on our own website, there is an option of “Cleaning”. If you are staying in one of our apartments, our studios, or our self-catering townhouses / villas, and would like a cleaning service in the middle of your stay, please check the “cleaning” option.
Check in time is after 14:00. If you want to arrive earlier please call us at 064 6642321 on the morning of arrival to arrange this.
Check out time is at 11.00am. If you would like to check out later, please inform a member of staff the evening before you depart and we will organize this for you.
Children are allowed in the bar. However, they must be accompanied by an adult and must remain seated at all times. Please note that the legal drinking age in Ireland is 18.
While it is customary in Ireland that children leave the bar early, we understand that a lot of families come to O’Donnabhain’s for food and also to listen to the music, so we have no problems with you staying a little late to listen to the music.

We serve food from 12.00 midday. Our closing time differs by season. We open until at least 21:00 in the winter and later during the summer months.
Please call our restaurant staff on 061 664 2321 to check our restaurant closing time.
Pets are only allowed in our beer garden at the rear of the property.
Registered assistance and guide dogs are exempt from this rule. We respect that assistance or guide dogs are essential to their owners.
Our bar and restaurant are located on the ground floor and are fully accessible.
Our bedrooms are located on the first and second floors and we do not have an elevator in the premises.
Our voltage is 220 Volt. If you are from the US it is better to purchase your transformer in Ireland.
